I am very pleased to tell you that I’ve gotten together with some wonderful friends of mine to create a series of 4 workshops this summer, that we are calling the Pathways to Awareness. Since awareness is the first step to knowing your inner self, we are devoting these 4 workshops to this aim.
Flo Masson will be coming from Kelowna, BC to offer us a full day workshop introducing forms of meditation to us, and encouraging us to live in the present the way our Twin Willows horses do. We will do some sharing and learn how to let go of unwanted baggage that we’ve accumulated. We’ll eat a simple lunch of organic soup and homemade bread, followed by a time for reflection and journalling. We will have some time to interact with our wonderful Twin Willows horses, from the ground, so bring some closed-toed shoes!! And bring your hugs and attention, and they will reward you with acceptance and compassion. This workshop will take place on May 25th from 10 am – 4 pm.
The next three Sunset Reflections Workshops are held on Monday evenings, timed to take advantage of the fabulous sunsets that we experience on the Farm. During these two-hour sessions, Sonja Koch from Horses of the Sun Stables will guide you through meditations aimed at broadening your awareness of your inner selves. We will be doing this in our back yard in the company of our horses – they will be watching across the fence.
Sonja is tailoring these meditations for us to take advantage of our natural setting, the horses and our aim of knowing ourselves. Choose to register for one, two or all three of these sessions:
- The Realm Within – taking us to our inner realm to meet and connect with our “higher self” on June 24th from 7-9 pm
- Banishing Self-Sabotage – opening up our consciousness for positive self-talk and personal acceptance on July 22nd from 7-9 pm
- Loving Yourself – look deep into yourself to acknowledge and respect your mental, physical and emotional self on August 19th from 6:30-8:30 pm
Join us for these wonderful nourishing workshops. Please bring comfortable clothes, a yoga mat and walking shoes.
I look forward to meeting you and sharing the tranquility that is our Farm and introducing our horses to you. Workshop spaces will be limited so call me or email me to register. If there is enough demand we may schedule more sessions. Email: email@example.com or Cell: 613-293-4179
